“I have been to all your Gilbert and Sullivan productions since I came to Israel over three years ago….it is fitting for the British Ambassador to come to such a quintessentially British event; because you always make me feel very welcome; and most of all because I know you will have put on a wonderful performance to your normal extraordinary and professional standards.”
– HE Matthew Gould, British Ambassador to Israel:
TERRIFIC – Your new faces were talented as well as the oldies, but goodies…Thank you for quality theater
I wanted to tell you that I had a wonderful evening at Beit Shmuel. The costumes were magnificent, scenery beautiful, and I loved the scenery change. It was brilliant…Kol Hakavod!
We were there, we loved it! The acting, singing, stage and costumes, and music were all superb. I also really enjoyed the plot and laughed very hard indeed. Well done. Hope you and the whole cast and crew continue to enjoy the performances (and the audiences too, of course).
I know the dedication and work that went into every detail and appreciate the whole backstage cast as well.
There’s nothing like the thrill of a great evening’s performance and the consummate energy the cast puts out to create such an event. Personally, I am elevated to new heights of satisfaction, enthusiasm, and ambition to put forth even better efforts next week and looking forward to the next season’s endeavors. Thanks for the opportunity and all that I have gained from this experience.

The set was fantastic! Alive, whimsical, and matching the humor of the shows. There was a murmur of appreciation when the sets were turned and another gorgeous set was revealed. The costumes were a delight.
The cast was hilarious. I came with three other people and I assure you that we actually cried with laughter at certain points. The combination of utter ridiculousness, sung and acted with utter seriousness by leads and ensemble alike, was a hit.
…Last night was my mother’s birthday and she said that she couldn’t have imagined a better celebration than to see this show.
We live on a moshav near Ashdod. Last night, it was worth every second of the drive to Jerusalem to see the Encore performance of The Sorcerer and Trial by Jury. To say that we enjoyed it is an understatement…All in all, an outstanding performance by the entire cast, bar none.
Came yesterday with my kids- and even though they don’t have fluent English- they really enjoyed themselves!! Thanks guys!!
